THEORETICAL STUDY ON COAXIAL MULTIMODE FEEDS

摘要 Using the moment method the mode ratio formulas are derived for coaxial multimode feeds. First, using the geometrical thoery of diffraction, the fields are found over an infinite plane which is one wavelength away from the feed aperture, and then, based on these fields, the radiation field of the feed is evaluated. The good agreement between the theoretical and the measured results shows the method presented is available. Using the moment method the mode ratio formulas are derived for coaxial multimode feeds.
