犬用口服狂犬病疫苗的研究

Oral Rabies Vaccine for Use in Dogs

用我国分离并传代适应的狂犬病病毒固定毒22号毒株作为家犬口服疫苗毒株。22号毒株活毒疫苗用于家犬一次口服(拌入煮熟待凉的粥内,在口腔停留约30秒至2分钟服完)即可获得免疫。免疫力可持续15个月,至少与国外Flury LEP疫苗相同。流行病学观察19,425只家犬证明疫苗安全、有效。犬用口服疫苗在我国属首创,国外仅有用于狐狸的口服疫苗,用于家犬的同类制品未见报道。

Dogs were immunized orally with an attenuated rabies vaccine, No.22 strain on mice brain.The liquid vaccine was placed in rice porridge,which is acceptable to and readily ingested by the animals.Serological response was tested with mice serum neutralization test.After immunization seroconversion rates in seronegative dogs were 100% (GMT 42, N=20), 91.7%(GMT76, N=12)and 80% (GMT34,N=5) in groups receiving oral vaccine after 1,6 and 15 months respectively.These results indicate that the attenuated oral rabies vaccine virus was highly immunogenic,genetically stable,and safe for dogs.According to the data mentioned above,it is considered that the No. 22 virus strain could be used as a seed virus for ths production of live attenuated rabies vaccine for dogs.
