Museology in china

本文为本刊主编苏东海在国际博协第四届亚太地区大会上所作重点报告的讲稿。在此文中,作者回顾了近八十年来中国博物馆及博物馆学发展的状况。他着重从社会经济条件、政治条件和文化条件等因素出发,分析记述了三十年代、五十年代和八十年代,博物倌和博物馆学研究的特点,并就如何评价中国博物馆学研究现状,需要解决的问题以及如何在中国自己的土地上建设既有世界性、又有民族性的博物馆学提出了自己的看法。

This is the paper given by Mr. su Donghai, editor-in-chief of the magazine 'chinese museum', at the Fourth Regional Assembly of ICOM in Asia and the pacific. In his paper, the author reviews the development of both chinese museums and museology in recent 80 years. He focuses his analysis on the character of researches on Chinese museums and museology in 1930s, 1950s and 1980s from such factors as social economic, political and cultural conditions. He also expressed his own view on how to evaluate the current state of museological study in China and the problems needed to be solved as well as how to build museology with both universal and national characteristics in China
