对博物馆学学科属性的初步探讨——兼与范广杰同志商榷

A preliminary study on the classification of the subject "museology"

本文就博物馆学学科属性问题与范广杰同志商榷(范广杰《博物馆学若干问题的思考》,载《中国博物馆》,1988年第3期)。本文以边缘科学、综合科学的特征,形成方式及与博物馆的关系方面论述了博物馆学不属于上述两门学科。范文虽也持此结论,但论据和论证缺乏科学性。范文提出博物馆学属于“社会技术科学”的观点,本文认为,按范文所依理论,博物馆学应属于“社会应用科学”。

In this essay,the author wishes to discuss with comrade Fan Guangjie over the question of the characteristics of museology. (see Fan Guangjie, Ponderation of some problem's on Museology, in the CHINESE MUSEUM,No.3 ,1988)Starting from the characteristics and development of the periphoral and comprehensive sciences and their relations with museology, the essay has concluded that museology does not belong to the two fields. Although Fan's article has come to the same conclusion, it is found wanting in scientific adequacy. while Fan's argues for the characteristics of muscology to ''the social-techinical science', this essay holds that, in accordance with the theories on which Fan's is based, its characteristics to 'the social applied sciences' should be the logical inference.
