对广西20种木材的吸水性和湿胀性进行测定,结果表明,木材的吸水性与木材密度成反比关系,其回归方程为:y=-56.5716+115.818/x。除个别树种外,浸水8~12昼夜,湿胀性便达到稳定。在针叶树材中,差异湿胀与木材密度成反比,而在阔叶树材中,这种关系则不明显,
The water-absorbing capacity is inversely proportional to the density in wood.The regression equation is:y=-56.5716+115.818/x.Except for a few kinds,the wood needs to be soaked for about 8~12 days and nights before the moisture-absorbing expansion stops.In narrow-leaved woods,the ratio of tangential to radial expansibility is inversely proportional to the density,but not in broad-leaved woods.
