编制基本星表是用新的观测资料改进现有的基本星表系统。本文对编制基本星表的一般原理作了简述,并较为详细地介绍了系统改正时选取初始星表的方法,最后还介绍了确定每本初始星表相对权重的方法。

What a fundamental catalog is drawn up means that an available original fundamental catalog system is improved by means of the new observations. The general principles for drawing up a fundamental catalog and the methods for selecting primary catalogues and for determinating their relative weights arc also proposed in this present article.
