The brief introduction to the development of SEC by Moore is given,mainly to the application except determination of molecular weight distributions of linear polymers.The principles,measuring methods and the results of various usages are commented,showing SEC is an important tool for high polymer analysis with great sign- nificance and bright future for analyzing high polymer which couldn't be done before.
