益气养阴活血治法的抗衰老机理研究——Ⅲ、“气血通”对老年大鼠组织细胞核体外转录活性的影响

The Effects of a Chinese Traditional Herb Drug on RNA Synthesis in Isolated Nuclei and Chromatins of Aging Rats

用益气养阴活血中药方剂“气血通”(人参、丹参、沙参等八味中药组成)掺入饲料喂养大鼠,可增加老年动物存活率,并提高老年大鼠肝、脾、脑、肾细胞核体外转录活性。

Old rats (25 months of age) were divided into control and experimental groups, and xperimental group was fed with a diet containing 1 % Qixuetong (a Chinese herb compound drug)for 100 day.RNA synthesis in nuclei of brain,liver, spleen and kidney of the drug-eating group were determined and found to be respectively about 16% ,51%, 38% and 47%,, It was higher than those of control group which was in same age but without Qixuetong diet. Meanwhile the mortality of the drug-eating group was 50%(12/24), and that of the control group was 25%(11/44). These results suggest that Qixuetong has some anti-aging effect.
