摘要
本文主要阐述了自70年代以来台湾地质构造研究的进展,包括台湾地质特点,台湾基础地质和地球物理的研究成果以及能源矿产情况,着重介绍了它作为欧亚板块与菲律宾板块的碰撞边界在研究太平洋西缘地质构造中的重要意义。
This paper reviews the recent development and results of Taiwan geological research, including main characteristics of Taiwan geology, basic geology and geophysics as well as mineral resources. As Taiwan is believed to be the collision boundary between Eurasian plate and Philippine plate, this paper emphasizes its important significance in researching tectonics of west pacific margin.
