摘要
台湾地层经多年调查研究,已基本查明.主要包括古生代和部分中生代的大南澳片岩、中生代地层及古第三纪、新第三纪和第四纪地层,以新生代地层发育最为广泛.地层展布与构造走向一致,主要成NS—NNE.除东部海岸山脉出露新第三系外,自中央山脉向西,依次出露了大南澳片岩(PZ—MZ)、中生界、老第三系、新第三系和第四系.
Stratigraphy in Taiwan has been elementarily ascertained by research for many years. It consists of Dalanao schist which is placed in palaeozoic and part of Mesozoic, Mes ozoic, Eogene, Neogene and Quaternary. Cenozoic develops most extensively. The strike of strata extends in direction NS-NNE consistent with that of structure. Except Neogene exposes on the East shore Range, others expose in order of Dalanao Schist(Pz-Mz) , Mesozoic, Eogene, Neogene and Q-uaternary from Central Range to west.
