摘要
本文通过数值模拟,对台湾东北部存在的一个冷涡及一个暖涡的生成机制进行了初步的探讨。模拟的海区为26—31°N,120—125°E区域,此区域不包括台湾岛在内。其结果,认为这两个涡主要是由于科氏力及海底地形的影响所至,与认为冷涡主要是由于绕流所生成的观点有所不同。同时还得到冷涡比暖涡更稳定的结果。
The mechanim of the formation of a small cold eddy and a warm one in the area 26°—31°N, 120°—125°E northeast of the Taiwan island is preliminary studied by using a numerical model. The results show that the two eddies are caused by the Coriolis force and the topography of the sea floor. This is something different from the previous conclusion that the cold eddy mainly results from the disturbed flow caused by the Taiwan island Results also show that the cold eddy is more stable than the warm one.
