中太平洋北部锰结核中的微量元素

TRACE ELEMENTS IN MANGANESE NODULES FROM THE NORTHERN PART OF THE CENTRAL PACIFIC OCEAN

摘要 中太平洋北部锰结核中的微量元素分析表明,调查区具有经济价值的金属元素Cu,Ni,Co,Zn,Pb以及Sr含量很高。尤其是Cu,Zn,Pb和Sr,比世界大洋锰结核中的平均含量高出一个数量级,其他微量元素与世界大洋和太平洋的数值接近。借助于聚类分析把相关强的元素分为三组。第一组为Co,Sr,V,Pb;第二组为Cu,Zn,Ni,Li;第三组为Cr和K。这种共生组合反映了结核的形成机制。研究表明,锰结核中大多数微量元素受到主要元素的支配,这些主要元素又与结核中的主要矿物有关。因此,锰结核中的一些微量元素的含量变化,能够反映出主要成矿元素丰度特征和形成时的环境条件。通过微量元素的研究和环境参数的测定,为评价矿物资源提供科学依据。 Analysis of the trace elements in the manganese nodules from the northern part of the Central Pacific Ocean shows that economically valuable elements such as Ni, Cu, Zn, Co, Pb, and Sr are quite rich in the investigation area. Particularly, the contents of Cu, Zn, Pb and Sr are higher by one order of magnitude than the their average contents in the manganese nodules in the world oceans. The contents of the other trace elements are close to their average contents in the world eceans.By cluster analysis, the trace elements that are strongly correlated were divided into three groups: the first group is Co, Sr, V and Pb; the second one is Cu, Zn, Ni and Li; and the third one is Cr and K. The relation of inter- growth and association indicates the developing mechanism of manganese nodules.The results of the study show that most the trace elements are controlled by major elements in manganese nodules. The major elements are also related to the major minerals in manganese nodules. Therefore, the variations of the contents of some trace elements in nodules can show characteristics of the abundance of major mineralization elements and the environmental condition for their formation. The study on the trace elements in manganese nodules and determination of the environment parameters provided a scientific basis for evaluation of mineral resources.
