本文对各种耐火材料作了评论,这些耐火材料在连续玻纤和小的圆形玻璃棉电窑中很大的优点,是可获得均衡的长期使用寿命.致密高含量氧化铬耐火材料一般用于窑炉最具腐蚀性的部位,而锆砖和较低密度的氧化铬耐火材料应用于磨蚀程度较低部位,用作背衬材料和受到周期性热变化的窑炉部位.利用各类耐火材料的特性,可以在投资方面、窑炉寿命方面及所生产的产品方面作出最经济有效的设计.

Several kinds of refractories have been assessed in this paper. Generally, high density chromic oxide refractories are used at the most corrosive position in the melting furnance, white zircon bricks and lower density chromic oxide refractories are used at the less corrosive position. By conbining the different characteristics of these refractories, a most economic and effective furnance design can be obtained to offer the following advantage: less investment, longer furnance campaign, quality products, etc.
