摘要
The Da Qaidam and Xiao Qaidam saline lakes are located in the north of the Qaidam Basin, being all rich in boron. The brine contains a large amount of boron （B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>: 1.2--3.3 g/1）, and the borate deposits are also distributed widely. This article further deals with the boron isotopic composition and its fractionation on the basis of the samples for brine and borate minerals taken from the field and our experiments on the formative conditons of borate.
