China Cartographic Publishing House is the nation’s central-level and largest press specialized in compiling and publishing small-scale maps and atlases. Founded in 1954, the house has up to now a history of 35 years. It was moved from the eastern part of Beijing to the present site in southwest Beijing in 1960.
