The effects on niobium addition on microstructures and mechanical properties of gray cast iron were studied.The experiment shows the effects of niobium on gray eait iron are as follows, refine eutectic cell,change graphite morphology and improve mechanical properties at room and elevated temperatuve and wear resistance.
