Study on Manufacturing Artificial Veneer with Poplar

杨木是我国重要的速生材种之一,本文提出了杨木的旋切、染色、干燥、胶合等性能的试验结果,表明试验树种适合于制造人造薄木。

Poplar is an economical kind of fast growing forest in our nation. This article presents the result of the experiments on manufacturing the artificial veneer with poplar. Series research have dealt with poplar's processing propertis including log peeling, drieing and staining for material veneer, laminated gluing, etd. It showed that poplar is a good tree species for manufacturing artificial veneer.
