Starting from the visual thinking problems in various scientific fields,the paper describesthe scholars′statements in the ancient time & today on the intelligent development of descrip-tive geometry.With the systematic research on imagination & thinking,it is clear that devel-oping intelligence in descriptive geometry is to cultivate visual thinking.Therefore,the paperpredicts the important position of decriptive geometry for training visual thinking & for de-veloping the thinking function of the right brain.
