摘要
本文根据萨赫勒地区沙漠化原因的分析,指出了造成萨赫勒地区沙漠化的根本原因不是气候因素,而是人类过度经济活动的结果,并分析了该地区沙漠化的典型性与特点。
Based on the analysis on the causes of desertification in Sahel region,the paper points out that the basic causes for the formation of the desertification in Sahel region are mainly because of the excessive economic activi-ties by human beings other than climate factors. Besides, the paper analysesthe typicalness and characteristics of desertification in the area.
