The preliminary experience of radionuclide scintigraphy in the research of human meridium

经络学说是中医理论的重要组成部分。应用现代医学技术探讨经络实体和本质是中西医结合的一项重要课题。从理论上讲,核医学以活体生理、生化机能显示能力见长,恰与中医理论打破系统、脏器界限、将系统与器官、结构与功能(气与血)。

Afferent Iine-shape migration of radiotracer was observed with r-camera after subcutaneous injection of ^(99M)MTcO_4 at various acupuncture points. The migrations follow the pathways of meridium on body surface, bearing some characteristics different fron those of blood and lymphatic flow, but similar to the descriptions in traditional chinese medicine about meridium. Therefore, it proves to be promising to expand the experimental use of radionuclide to human meridian research.
