THE PARTITION FUNCTIONS OF MODELS WAITH QUADRATICALL DEPENDENT ENERGY SPECTRA

本文提出一个平方能谱模型配分函数新的计算方案,玻氏因子的直接求和结合其theta变换将会在整个温度范围内给出准确的数值结果,本文强调了theta变换在统计热力学中的重要应用。

A new recipe for evaluation of the partition functions of models with quadratically dependent energy spectra is proposed. Direct summation of Boltzmann factors in conjunction with its Theta transformation will yield accurate numerical results over the whole region of temperature in a simple way. The important application of the Theta transformation in statistical thermodynamics is emphasized.
