新疆和田地区部分维吾尔族老年人口腔健康调查

A survey of oral health status of the older Uighur people in hetian, Xinjiang

目的:了解新疆和田地区部分维吾尔族老年人口腔卫生及健康状况。方法:对108例新疆和田地区65-70岁维吾尔族老年人进行口腔卫生知识问卷及口腔健康调查。结果:患龋率60.19%,牙磨耗患病率31.48%,楔状缺损患病率0%,牙周病患病率77.78%,口腔黏膜病患病率10.19%,牙列缺损率77.78%,牙列缺失率22.22%,戴义齿率23.15%,需戴义齿率75.93%。结论:新疆和田地区部分维吾尔族老年人口腔健康状况不容乐观,应该加强口腔卫生服务以及口腔健康宣传工作。

Objective： To investigate the current oral health status of the older Uighur people in hetian, Xinjiang. Methods： Oral health status of 108 older Uighur people were examined and a questionnaire survey was completed in hetian. Results： The survey shows that 60.19% suffered from caries, 31.48% from abrasion, 0% from wedge-shaped defect, 77.78% from periodontal disease, 10.19% from oral mucosal diseases, 77.78% from dentition defect, 22.22% from edentulous jaw, 23.15% was wearing prosthesis, and 75.93% need denture. Conclusion： The oral health status of this populationis are far from satisfactory. The awareness of oral health status in some older patients in Hetian District need to be strengthened. Furthermore, oral hygiene publicizing and education should be carried out and more dental care services should be provided.
