Proposed Teaching Plans Using CALL in a Reading Class

计算机在课堂教学中的应用与发展对英语教学有着积极而深远的影响,同时也为英语阅读的教与学创造了更多的新机会。本文阐述了计算机辅助语言教学在阅读课中的优点,并以包头师范学院英语专业大一学生的泛读课为例,举例说明了应如何把计算机技术更好地应用到英语阅读教学中,进而达到提高学生阅读能力的目标。

The advancement and use of technology in classrooms have a positive pedagogical impact on the teaching and learning process. It also has created new opportunities to enhance teaching ad learning in terms of reading competence. This thesis reports on a case study on applying CALL in a reading class for the freshman majoring in English at Baotou Teachers＇ College to help them increase their reading performance after presenting the advantages of applying CALL in a reading class.
