糖尿病周围神经病变疼痛（DPNP）是一种常见的糖尿病慢性并发症，是糖尿病患者急性或慢性疼痛综合征最常见的原因之一。本文综述2008年9月在英国格拉斯哥市举行的第12届疼痛大会上对糖尿病周围神经病变疼痛的机制及治疗方面研究的最新进展。

Diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain （DPNP） is a common chronic complication of diabetes, which is one of the most common causes of acute or chronic pain syndrome . Based on the proceedings of the 12th world congress on pain held in Glasgow, Scotland, in September 2008, this article summarizes the progress of mechanisms of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain and its treatments.
