氩氦刀治疗肾上腺恶性嗜铬细胞瘤

Argon-Helium targeted ablation for malignant adrenal pheochromocytoma

目的:探讨氩氦刀治疗肾上腺恶性嗜铬细胞的安全性及疗效;方法:2000年8月至2008年3月,6例复发性恶性嗜鉻细胞瘤给予了氩氦刀治疗。结果:血压、卧位基础状态肾素活性、卧位血管紧张素、血浆醛固酮治疗前后差异有显著性(P<0.05)。影像学检查,3例肿瘤缩小50%以上,2例无明显变化,1例向周围扩散;仅2例患者术中血压短暂性上升,无其他并发症。结论:氩氦刀对于不能手术或术后复发的恶性嗜鉻细胞瘤是一种安全、有效的姑息治疗,严重并发症少。

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of Argon-Helium targeted ablation for malignant adrenal pheochromocytoma. Methods From August 2000 to March 2008, 6 patients with recurred malignant adrenal pheochromocytoma received percutaneous Argon-Helium targeted cryoablation. Results There were significant differences between pre-and post-cryoablation in blood pressure and supine plasm renin activity, angiotensin Ⅱ , and aldosterone levels (P<0.05). On radiography, 50% reduction in the tumor size occurred in 3 patients, no significant change in 2, and infiltration to the surrounding tissue in 1. A temporary rise in intraoperative blood pressure developed in 2 patients. No any other complications occurred. Conclusions Argon-Helium targeted ablation is a safe, effective palliative treatment for unresectable or recurred malignant pheochromocytoma, with fewer fatal complications.
