Summarize the International Academic Forum on Chime-Bells from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State Unearthed 30th Anniversary

2008年12月8日至9日,由湖北省文化厅、中共随州市委、市政府、武汉音乐学院联合举办的"纪念曾侯乙编钟出土30周年国际学术研讨会",在曾侯乙编钟的故乡——湖北随州隆重举行。来自美国、法国、荷兰、德国以及国内相关领域的数十名学者,在全面回顾、总结曾侯乙编钟出土30年来所取得的研究成果的同时,交流了在以曾侯乙编钟为核心的中国古代编钟及相关文化研究方面所产生的最新学术成果,并就曾侯乙编钟在当前乃至今后学术研究、学科建设、艺术实践乃至社会文化与经济建设方面可以而且应该继续扮演的角色、发挥的作用,进行了讨论与展望。

The International Academic Forum on Chime-Bells from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State Unearthed 30^th Anniversary, jointly organized by Hubei Provincial Department of Culture, Suizhou Com- mittee of Communist Party of China, Suizhou Municipal People＇s Government and Wuhan Conservatory of Mu- sic, held in the Bells hometown, Suizhou city Hubei province, from 8 to 9, December 2008. Dozens of schol- ars including ones of America, France, Holland, Germany, as well as the ones from the domestic related re- search field, reviewed of the research achievements in the past 30 years, and meanwhile exchange the new aca- demic results on the Bells with related cultural research aspects. The experts and scholars also discussed the Chime-bells from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State with the academic research, construction of disci- pline, art practice, and even its role in social culture and economic development at present as well as in the future.
