基于模拟电话网的活动图象监视系统

A Telephone-network-based Image Sequence Monitoring System

分析了传统的基于模拟电话网的远方活动图象监视系统的缺点，在此基础上，充分利用当今计算机先进的软硬件技术和数字摄象技术，提出一种新型系统。介绍了该系统的基本组成、视频压缩技术特点和主要功能。该系统的图象压缩编解码器用软件完成，具有硬件结构简单，成本低，易于更新换代等优点。模拟表明，压缩后的图象具有较好的主观质量，完全可以满足远方监视的需要。

The disadvantages of the conventional image sequence transmitting system based on the telephone network are analyzed and a new kind of system based on advanced computer and digital camera technology is proposed.Its basic configuration,characteristics of video compression technology and main functions are described。The image codec is implemented by software,it has the advantages are of simplified hardware structure,low cost and ease to regeneration.Simulation results show that the compressed image has a relative good subjective quality and can be applied to the remote monitoring.
