The present situation of Synthetic Fibers production and comsumption in the world is reviewed. The development of Synthetic fibers in the new century is prospected. The differential fibers used in industry are introduced emphatically, the profound significance of developing spunbonded nonwovens and multifunctional applications of mi-crofibers are also discussed.
