概述了膨润土的特性及其在建筑涂料中的作用。提出建筑涂料中采用膨润土是降低涂料成本和改善涂料性能的有效措施之一。为了提高涂料用膨润土的质量，对膨润土资源的开发。
This paper has indicated the characteristics of bentonite clay and its contribution in the architectural paint, and suggested that addition of bentonite in the formulation is an effective approach to reduce the cost and improve the properties of the paint For the improvement of quality of bentonite clay, the author made some comments on the exploitage and application of bentonite resources
