英汉比较研究面临的新形势与我们的对策

New Trends in English-Chinese Comparative Studies and Our Strategy

文章分析了英汉比较研究当前面临的国际国内形势和学术发展的新动向,指出人文精神的回归、中国意识的觉醒和对实践问题的关注是最值得注意的三个方面。在此基础上提出英汉比较研究者要加强时代意识、危机意识、问题意识及主体意识。由此对几个具体方向的研究提出了自己的建议。

This paper analyzes the current situation in China and abroad, and points out that the return of humanistic spirit, the awakening of Chinese identity and the re-emphasis on practical problems are three main trends in academic studies today. It calls for the English-Chinese researchers＇ further awareness of the times, the crisis, the problematics, and the Chineseness. It also makes a few suggestions for certain topics.
