Study of IPTV Soft STB

本文基于IPTV业务发展方向及目前遇到的成本阻碍等问题,首先分析了软终端对IPTV的业务宣传和成本降低的促进作用,进而重点探讨软终端的技术实现和业务功能,最后对软终端的应用特点与现有互联网视频的业务模式进行比较。

Based on the problems about increasing STB cost and the unclear direction of IPTV service development, the business advocacy and promotion of cost reduction of the IPTV soft STB is analyzed in this paper. Furthermore, it focused on the technical implementation and service functionalities of IPTV soft STB, and finally discussed the service scenarios of soft STB and compared it with the existing Internet video streaming service on the business model aspect.
