摘要
吴大任先生是我国著名的数学家、教育家．他才学深厚、品格高尚、业绩卓著，教育、教学思想先进，对我国的教育事业特别是数学教育事业贡献尤为突出．他认为数学教育应该注重激发学生数学学习的兴趣，要重视几何教学．
Professor WU Da-ren was the famous mathematician and educator in China. He was a person of profound knowledge, great talents, noble characters, and outstanding achievements. With advanced teaching ideas, Prof. Wu made outstanding contributions to the cause of education especially the cause of mathematics education in China.
