The necessity and working conditions of applying centralized oil lubrication system in the bearings in the wire part of high speed paper machines were invesgated in this paper. Taken a felt roll as an example, the bearing assembly, or sealing devices, sealing principles and the centralized oil lubracation system in high speed paper machines were introduced.
