论述了新疆丰富多采的各种新构造,以及它们的表现特点和分布规律。在中亚早更新世喜马拉雅运动主幕中,已夷平的老褶皱山系复活再造是控制新疆第四纪地质发展的主导因素,盖层褶皱也有强烈的表现。在中更新世、晚更新世的喜马拉雅运动后幕和余幕中,基底降升和盖层变形还相当普遍。目前在山前拗陷的前缘还在高速沉降。个别地段或许有裂谷化可能。
The paper systematic ally describes and verifies various neotectonic movements, the characteristics of their appearances and the patterns of their distribution in Xinjiang, based on many data accumulated in more than forty years’ work. During the main phase of Himalayan event in early Pleistocene epoch, the revived reconstruction of the planated old mountains is a key factor to control the evolution of Quaternary system in Xinjiang, and fold sedimentary cover hadan intense appearance, too. Uplifting of the basement and deformation of the sedimentary cover were very general in late and other phases of Himalayan movement in middle and late Pleistocene epoch. At present, front of the foredeep is still downgoing at high speed and other special regions are rifting perhaps.
