USB Interface Convert Technique and Application for Inverter

当前的变频器设备大都采用RS232接口与计算机进行通信,但随着USB接口技术日益广泛的应用,在变频器中采用USB协议通信将是必然的发展趋势。本文设计了一种以FTDI公司的专用USB桥接芯片FT232R为核心的USB到串口转换模块,并将其应用到变频器系统中,具有开发周期短,通用性强的特点。能够很好地满足变频器高性能控制的需求。

The communication between inverter and PC mostly based on the RS232 interface, but as the USB interface applied widely in recent years, the achievement of the USB communication in the inverter is the developing trend. In this paper an interface convert module based on the FTID＇s special USB convert chip FT232R is designed, and then which is used into the inverter system fatherly. The convert module can meet the requirement of the high control performance.
