贫困县农村小学英语教师素质调查——以莲花县为例

A Survey of the Qualities of Primary School English Teachers in the Poverty-stricken County

本调查采用问卷和访谈形式,了解贫困县小学英语教师的基本素质。旨在发现问题,为开展有目的、有针对性、有实效的师资教育工作提供参考。从调查结果与数据分析可以看出:贫困县莲花县农村小学英语教师素质现状不容乐观,提高农村小学英语教师素质是摆在我们面前刻不容缓的任务。

This report is based on some interviews and a questionnaire specially designed for primary school English teachers in the Poverty--stricken County of Lianhua. The main objective of the study is to provide the teacher educators with the updated first--hand data for subsequent target-- oriented teacher renewal and teacher development in the TEFL profession. After analyzing the results of the survey we come to the conclusion, it has a long way to go as the Qualities of Primary School English Teachers in the Poverty- stricken County of Lianhua is concerned and it is extremely urgent that they should be improved in professional qualities.
