Coastal wetland ecosystem exists with distinctive environment, complex structure and outstanding ecological function, It's great economic and ecological benefits have significant effects on the biological diversity conservation and the sustainable development in the coastal area. In this paper, the ecological function and effect of coastal wetland ecosystem are discussed, and the types, resource characteristics, conservation and utilization way of the coastal wetland in Tianjin are explored as well.
