This paper describes the fault phenomenon which includes the unusual sound and abnormally large current on the protection zero line during the pilot operation of the circulatory pump motor, profoundly analyzes the fault causes of the motor in the respects of onsite measurement, free load test and inspection situation after disassembly, so as to demonstrate that the comprehensive analysis on the fault should be done and the stereotype of thinking should be avoided.
