Mao Zedong's Exploration of Grain Issues after the Founding of the People's Republic of China and Its Realistic Significance

建国后,以毛泽东为代表的党的第一代领导集体在建设社会主义新中国的过程中,为解决我国的粮食问题、保证我国的粮食安全作了不懈努力,形成了依靠社会主义制度解决粮食问题、实行粮食统购统销和统筹兼顾、综合发展等特色,为当今建设社会主义新农村,推进农村改革提供了有益的启示。

After the founding of the People＇s Republic of China, the first generation leadership collective of the CPC Central Committee, headed by Mao Zedong , has exerted great efforts to solve China＇s grain issues and ensure the grain safety. It has developed the characteristics by relying on socialist system to solve the grain issues, combining unified purchase and sale with overall consideration, and by taking comprehensive development, all of which have thrown useful enlightenments to today＇s construction of new socialist countryside and the promotion of rural reforms.
