The Meanings and Varieties of Wealth: Marxist View of Wealth in Contemporary Chinese Context

用马克思社会形式发展的三阶段论衡量,当代中国正在从"人的依赖性"社会走向"以物的依赖性为基础的人的独立性"。在转型时期,"财富"的含义也发生了重大的变化。但人们并没有自觉地意识到这种变化,导致对财富的不同含义的混淆。从世界历史范围看,由此所形成的财富观,尽管被当代中国人作为确凿无疑的真理来宣传,实际上却是一种骇人听闻的时代错误。

According to the theory of Marxist three social forms, the contemporary Chinese society is transforming from the first form to the second form. The meanings of ＂wealth＂ changed rapidly during the transformation period. However, the change has been neglected, which resulted in confusion of the meanings. The conclusion from the confusion, in the perspective of world history, makes up an appalling mistake, although it is alleged to be the unmistakable truth.
