回纥民族关系思想初探

An Initial Discussion of the Thought of Nationality Relationship of the Uigur Nationality

"世为唐臣"思想虽是吐迷度与铁勒诸部首领的共同思想,但吐迷度在其中起了主导作用;"世为唐臣"思想虽有一个演变过程,但其主线十分清晰。在吐迷度等人的意识中,"世为唐臣"思想具有接受唐朝官爵、成为唐朝臣民、加强与唐朝联系以及得到唐朝的庇护等比较丰富的内涵。这一思想已经渗入到吐迷度及其之后许多回纥首领的脑海之中,成为回纥首领处理与唐朝关系的主流思想。顿莫贺可汗提出了"以血洗血"和"以水洗血"的概念,"以血洗血"相当于以暴易暴,"以水洗血"相当于以德报怨。"以水洗血"思想的形成,既与顿莫贺可汗个人的智慧有关,也与回纥当时的政治局势、各种利害关系以及复杂的外交环境有关。这一思想至今仍具有重要的现实意义,只要人们能够按照"以水洗血"的思想处理各种矛盾,民族关系就会更加和谐,社会秩序就会更加稳定,世界就会更加和平。

Dunmohe, one of the leaders of the Uigur, put forward the idea of ＂using water to wash blood＂, that is, returning evil for good. The thought is of important and realistic significance now. As long as people manage contradictions with the idea of ＂using water to wash blood＂, the relations among nationalities will be more harmonious, the social orders will be more stable and the world will be more peaceful.
