Design and Development of Haikou Electronic Atlas System

采用地理信息系统、空间数据库、数字地图制图和多媒体等技术,设计和开发了海口市电子地图系统。该系统除具有一般电子地图的功能外,还具备若干特色功能,对相关政府部门和企事业单位科学高效地从事规划、设计、建设、管理、决策等工作具有重要的意义。

This paper introduced design and development of Haikou electronic atlas system by using GIS, spatial data base, digital cartography and multi-media technology. The system is of several characteristic functions in addition to the general, and it is important for related departments of government and enterprise to scientifically and efficiently carry on the work of project, design, construction, management and policy making.
