介绍矿井提升机故障监视和诊断的重要性，对矿井提升机的故障进行分类并建立故障模型，探讨了故障监视和诊断系统的结构及工作原理。
The importance of the fault detection and diagnosis of mine-shaft hoists is presented.The faults are classified and the fault modle established.In addition,the structure and the working principle of the system for the fault detection and diagnosis of mine-shaft hoists are discussed.
