摘要
研究了具有不同粒径、不同表面改性的氢氧化镁及其与磷系阻燃剂的并用物、石蜡油增塑剂等对EP-DM力学性能、挤出加工性能和阻燃性能的影响。结果表明:纳米氢氧化镁兼具增强和阻燃特性,但大量添加时材料的硬度很高。通过大量微米氢氧化镁和少量纳米氢氧化镁并用,辅以少量磷系阻燃协效剂和成炭剂,协调阻燃性能和力学性能的要求。通过添加少量马来酸酐接枝三元乙丙橡胶、润滑剂并加入石蜡油,可明显改善EPDM的挤出加工性能,最终制备出一种综合性能较好的挤出型无卤阻燃EPDM材料。
The effects of different particle sizes, modified Mg(OH)2 with various modifiers, synergistic flame retardant containing phosphorus and plasticizing agent of paraffin oil on the mechanical properties,extrudability and flame resistance of ethylene-propylene-diene (EPDM) copolymer were discussed. The results showed that nano-sized Mg(OH)2 could provided EPDM with evident reinforcement and flame resistance, and the hardness of EPDM was markedly increased at much higher Mg(OH)2 amount. It was found that the mechanical properties and flame resistance of EPDM could be balanced by adding a large amount of micrometer Mg(OH)2 and a small amount of nanometer Mg(OH)2, and by supplementing synergistic flame retardant containing phosphorus and char forma tion agent. At the same time, the extrudability were distinctively improved by adding a small amount of maleic anhydride grafted EPDM , lubricants and paraffin oil. The non-halogen flame retardant EP- DM extrudate with good comprehensive performances were prepared.
