In this paper,the structure of neural network expert system for risk prediction of coal seam outburst is presented.The knowledge acquisition,reasoning process,man-machine interface and design methods of the neural network expert system are introduced.Simulation and analysis prove the neural network expert system is reliable to predict risk of outburst of coal and gas.2figs.,3tabs.,8refs.
