建设社会主义核心价值体系是十六大以来我们党在思想文化建设上的一个重大理论创新。本文从社会主义核心价值体系在各种价值观选择中的适用定位、在各种价值理念中的层次定位、在上层建筑(意识形态)中的作用定位、在构建社会主义和谐社会中的文化定位等方面,对社会主义核心价值体系进行了论述。

The competition in cultural soft strength is an important part of the contest of comprehensive strength,of which the most important is core value.Socialist core value system is the basic embodiment of socialist ideology,the conclusion of the socialist de- velopmental law as well as the deep assurance of socialist constructional law and the Party＇s governing capacity.It is also the spiri- tual strength of inspiring and motivating the whole nation and spiritual tie of their living in harmony.Besides,it is the inner spirit and soul of socialist system.Since the Sixteenth National Congress,building socialist core value system has been a vital theoretical innovation in ideological and cultural construction of our party.This paper attempts to orientate socialist core value system scientifically from which the orientations involve applications and levels of various value choices,the role of ideology and culture in constructing harmonious socialist society.
