A comprehensive geological study is carried out on the thinning of #5 coal seam in the Tie 3 and Tie 4 districts and the mining geological conditions.This article also predicts the distribution of the thinning of the #5 coal seam,the areas to be covered by its extension and its possible damages to the #5 coal seam in the Tie 3 and Tie 4 districts.This provides useful geological data for the demarcation and arrangement of mining districts,mining plans and actual mining process.
