Based on the example of Environmental Impact Assessment （EIA） of one large thermal power plant construction project which is located near the nature reserve district, the methods to protect the rare birds in the nature reserve district in the EIA report are elaborated,which would provide reference to the ecological environment impact of the similar projects.
