摘要
在概述当代中国公共图书馆发展的基础上,以美国公共图书馆发展状况为参照,从管理体制、资源建设、服务工作、经费投入、队伍建设等方面就两国公共图书馆事业进行初步比较分析,为中国公共图书馆可持续发展提供借鉴与启示。
Taking the development of contemporary American public libraries as the reference, this paper briefly examines the current development of public librarianship in China. It makes a comparative analysis of both Chinese and American public library undertakings from five aspects, namely management system, resources construction, service, investment, and team building. Some suggestions are also made to help promote the sustainable development of Chinese public libraries.
