A Review of the Studies on Core Periodicals in China's Mainland in the Last Thirty Years

从定量与定性的角度全面回顾1979年到2008年来我国学术界有关核心期刊的研究情况,指出近三十年来我国多数学者不仅关注核心期刊基础理论、核心期刊的确定与评价等基本问题,而且重视研究某一领域核心期刊的评价与应用以及核心期刊的管理与发展等。此时期有关核心期刊的研究呈现出三大特点:研究主体并不局限于图书情报领域;有关核心期刊应用的正、负影响成为两种并行的思考角度;研究内容以应用研究为主,辅以基础研究。

The authors have reviewed the study and the application of core periodicals in China's Mainland from the qualitative and the quantitative perspective. In this field, from 1980 to 2008, scholars at home focused on the basic theories of the core periodical, and its identification, evaluation and application from certain fields, as well as its management and development. The study in this period had the following features： Not only the researchers from library and information science, but also the scholars from other fields paid more attention to study of core periodicals; The phenomenon of function dissimilation of core periodicals was thought much of in recent years from both the positive and the negative perspective; More literature was concerned with the application of core periodicals, with basic theory research as a supplement.
